Tech Connect is an accelerated training program for aspiring software engineers. Specially designed for individuals without formal training in computer science or software engineering, this full-time, multi-week program teaches participants how to code in Java and prepares them for the Software Engineer Program (SEP).
Through Tech Connect, you will learn and master the basics of object-oriented development using Java. Apply what you learn through hands-on application using various Agile software development practices. Further your technical skills through workshops with subject matters experts (SMEs) on various topics. Develop a continuous learning mindset in an open, collaborative learning environment. Invest in your professional development through engagements with senior leaders, panels with Tech Connect alumni and networking. Build a diverse network of peers, alumni, and program managers.
The 2025 Tech Connect Program - Fulltime role is open until February 21, 2025, unless the class is filled before that date. Applications will be reviewed on a rolling basis. We strongly encourage you to submit your application as early as possible as programs will close once positions are filled.
About the Software Engineer Program (SEP)
Upon completion of Tech Connect, joining our Software Engineer Program means you will join a global two-year career development program, designed to provide entry-level software engineering talent with foundational technical and professional skills which enable them to build robust networks and establish successful careers at JPMorgan Chase. You will receive opportunities for job growth, accelerated career advancement, and career mobility. The program starts with an in-depth induction program that teaches you about our businesses, builds on your knowledge of development methodologies, and sharpens your professional skills and will focus on holistic development of your technology, professional, and leadership competencies and skills.

Required qualifications, capabilities and skills
- Pursuing a B.A., B.S. or 5th year M.A. or M.S. degree in fields other than computer science1 or software engineering - with expected graduation between December 2024, and June 2025
- Demonstrated interest in pursuing a career as a Software Engineer
- A well-rounded academic background
- In touch with industry wide technology trends and best practices with a thirst for learning, growing and trying new things
- Ability to work in large, collaborative teams to achieve organizational goals, and passionate about building an innovative culture
- If you are a Computer Science major or have previous work/internship experience as a Software Engineer, you should apply to the FT 2025 Software Engineer job requisition.
