As a Lead Solutions Analyst in Corporate Technology, you will play a central role in driving the success of our technical program delivery. Your deep understanding of applications, platforms, and products will position you as a key bridge between product owners, business, operations, and software developers. Utilizing advanced analytical reasoning and technical fluency, you will translate complex business requirements into well-structured and technically feasible solutions. You will make data-informed decisions and provide strategic insights to support key business initiatives. As a technical subject matter expert, you'll navigate ambiguity, manage change effectively, and communicate compellingly with diverse stakeholder audiences to ensure the highest quality and professionalism in service delivery.
Job responsibilities
- Lead the elicitation, documentation, and validation of business and data flow requirements, ensuring alignment with stakeholder expectations and technical feasibility
- Acquire knowledge and develop expertise of Regulatory Controls & Operational Risk business domains, business processes, data, and applications.
- Partner with User Experience (UX) teams, define personas, perform Current State business process mapping, identify pain points, and define Target State business processes and associated system features to achieve business objectives.
- Facilitate business process mapping and requirements sessions with stakeholders (including senior management stakeholders)
- Learn and apply Domain Driven Design (DDD) Strategic and Tactical modeling concepts to overall solution design.
- Acquire knowledge of the application eco-system across numerous applications / processes and learn the capabilities of the target state technology stack – align target state business processes and system features to the target state architecture
- Contribute to developing and documenting program and capability roadmaps
- Assist with planning, facilitate effort estimation inputs, monitor program progress, and proactively identify dependencies and potential risks/issues along with suggested mitigation plans. Also, complete status reports and facilitate status and stakeholder checkpoint meetings.
- Participate in Agile / Scrum ceremonies and capture / track work using Jira
- Contribute to system testing and validation of implemented solutions. Ensure that delivered solutions meet the specified requirements and are of high quality.
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- 5+ years of experience or equivalent expertise in solutions analysis, technical program delivery, or a related field
- Experience with BPM tool(s) and Business Process Management Notation (BPMN)
- Proficiency in current state and target state business process modeling, requirement gathering techniques, and documentation.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills.
- Must have ability to build relationships with senior stakeholders, challenge current thinking, and partner with stakeholders (at all levels) to define “big picture”, strategic solutions that addresses the underlying business problem
- Excellent communication (verbal and written) and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to develop high quality documents and presentations for multiple audiences
- Self-motivated team player. Must possess the ability to research and resolve issues independently while working across teams to acquire needed information
- Ability to organize/manage multiple priorities and projects coupled with the flexibility to adapt to changes
- Experience performing or assisting with Project Management – includes planning, managing dependencies, monitoring progress, proactively addressing risks/issues, completing status reports, etc.
- Knowledge of relevant tools such as Microsoft Visio, JIRA, Confluence, MS Excel, PowerPoint and Word etc.
Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- Writing Epics and User Stories in an Agile environment
- Domain-Driven Design (DDD) experience is a plus
- Compliance, Operational Risk, or Controls Management experience within a Financial Institution is a plus
