As an Associate or Vice President within our EMEA Content team, you will be an integral part of our top-ranked Global Research department. We value the curation and creation of high-quality written content, and you will have the opportunity to work closely with our sector analysts. Your investigative and quantitative skills will be crucial in ensuring that our Research content continues to address the key debates, themes, and topics that investors value. Equity Research partners with Sales, Sales Trading and Trading teams globally to deliver timely thought leadership, and builds strong relationships with external clients and corporate management teams. Our insights and relationships are leveraged by multiple internal stakeholders, including Investment Banking, Prime Services, and Derivatives.

Job Responsibilities

  • Lead on collaborative efforts across the department on reference publications that address major market moving events with thought leadership
  • Work across our entire Equity franchise, as well as with sector analysts and cross-asset Research groups
  • Work with our sector analysts, applying investigative and quantitative skills to ensure that Research content continues to address the key debates, themes and topics that investors value
  • Stay abreast of company and industry developments

Required qualifications, capabilities and skills

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

  • Proven track record of relationship building skills — you should be able to easily connect with a wide range of individuals, have the ability to communicate clearly, concisely and confidently, and possess a talent for distilling complex issues into specific conclusions.

This role encompasses the performance of UK regulated activity. The successful candidate will therefore be subject to meeting UK regulatory requirements in the assessment of fitness, propriety, knowledge and competence (as assessed by the Firm) and (where appropriate) approval by the UK Financial Conduct Authority and/or the Prudential Regulation Authority to carry out such activities.
