As an Analyst in Markets Operations team , you'll be responsible to ensure the accuracy, efficiency and completeness of markets operations.

Job responsibilities

  • Works closely with Front Office (Traders and Marketers), Middle Office, Back Office and Hubs to support FX/MM, Fixed Income, Commodity, Derivative, SPG products etc.
  • Undertake all treasury operation tasks, including economic affirmation / confirmation, CNY settlement, Funding predictions, manual accounting & GLRS etc.
  • Perform Security settlement via CDC/SCH system for Bonds/Repo deals.
  • Produce local regulatory reports and internal MIS reports.
  • Establish/update Standard Operational Procedures (SOP) which include control measures and ensure the SOPs are in strict compliance with internal policies as well as governing rules and regulations.
  • Adhere to all control standards including local regulatory requirements and global policies.
  • Control Self Assessments are completed thoroughly and on time.
  • Have a connection with local industry & local regulator with evident proof on market influence.

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • Prefer 3+ years bank/financial industry working experience.
  • Have strong product knowledge on FX, fixed income, interest/exchange rate, credit derivative, Structure Deposit and Commodity.
  • Be familiar with local regulation on GEM products, ensure all the processing is in line with local regulation.
  • Obtain CDC & Shanghai Clearing house license (optional).
  • Fluent in speaking, reading & writing skills in both English & Chinese Mandarin.
  • Strong control mindset, sound specific industry knowledge & strong project co-ordination skills.
