As a Business Management Vice President within the Global Supplier Services team, you will act as the primary liaison between our business and our vendors. Your responsibilities will include overseeing processes and procedures, promoting a robust controls environment, promoting process improvements, and negotiating contracts. This role demands strong interpersonal, organizational, communication, time management, project management, and facilitation skills. Regular interaction with multiple teams and senior management will require you to demonstrate proven analytical and strategic thinking skills. This position offers the chance to deliver world-class vendor management service in a dynamic, collaborative environment.
For this role, candidates must be able to physically work in either our Jersey City, NJ or Wilmington, DE offices 3 days a week and remotely from home 2 days per week. The specific schedule will be determined and communicated by direct management.
Job Responsibilities
- Manage large number of contingent labor and professional service engagements ranging from simple one time and material to managed agreements / fixed deliverables to complex, multi-year vendor agreements
- Provide leadership, direction and coaching to teams(s) while partnering with key stakeholders including Technology, Finance and Sourcing
- Build and manage relationships with internal key contacts, ensuring Vendor Enablement and Experience requirements and objectives are adhered to with data collection and requirements gathering, validating budget funding, contract negotiations, and execution of vendor processes
- Assist in the strategy for evaluating and monitoring vendors in the CCB Tech space
- Serve as subject-matter for all phases of the supplier engagement lifecycle
- Partner and influence clients to ensure legal, risk, compliance and/or controls requirements are satisfied
- Produce executive level communications about programs inclusive of status, risks, issues, and delivery roadmap
- Assist product teams to analyze and prioritize work while level-setting expectations for delivery to stakeholders
Required qualifications, capabilities and skills
- Bachelor’s Degree
- 7+ years of demonstrated experience in software/hardware professional services sourcing, vendor, partner, or relationship management, technology or product management
- Strong competencies in use of MS Office packages (e.g., Excel, PowerPoint)
- Strong at multi-tasking and time management discipline
- Strong communication & presentation skills
- Experience with client management and project management
- Strong understanding of banking and departmental procedures, functions, and activities
Preferred qualifications, capabilities and skills
- Experience with third party risk oversight/sourcing/vendor management/Technology Project Management
