Job Summary:

As a Trading Services - Operations Analyst within the Agency Lending Department at JPMorgan Worldwide Securities Services, you will be responsible for supporting the day-to-day operations for settlement of trades and/or support contract compare and billing process. You will have the opportunity to leverage your knowledge of capital markets, work under pressure, meet stringent deadlines, and effectively work in teams. This role provides an opportunity to liaise with internal and external stakeholders, identify opportunities for process efficiency, and implement them in a controlled manner.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Ensure accuracy in processing in line with Standard Operating Procedures with no errors.
  • Identify & escalate all errors/exceptions on identification.
  • Respond to routine queries/complaints on calls/emails.
  • Be audit focused in all BAU activities.
  • Comply with the firm's policies & SOPs.
  • Navigate systems quickly and accurately.
  • Identify opportunities for process efficiency & implement in a controlled manner.
  • Exhibit effective communication with key stakeholders.
  • Ensure thorough knowledge of SOPs/related check points.
  • Perform all work in accordance to department procedures and within productivity processing and quality standards.
  • Exercise good judgment and degree of confidentiality, Effectively communicate with Managers on problematic transactions or exceptions.

Required qualifications, capabilities and skills:

  • Graduates with good academic record.
  • Good oral and written communications skills.
  • Must be able to work under pressure & deadline driven environment
  • Able to grasp/learn concepts and procedures quickly
  • Ability to work independently
  • Problem solving skills
  • Good time management skills
  • Must be very detail oriented and analytical
  • Analytical with ability to quickly assess situations and resolve complex issues

Preferred qualifications, capabilities and skills:

  • Good PC skills including Microsoft office products (Excel, Word, Power point, Access). Candidates with knowledge on Advance Excel (viz. building macros) will be an added advantage.
