As a Senior Principal Architect at JPMorgan Chase within Public Cloud Enablement and Adoption, you provide specialized expertise and domain knowledge to influence the target state architecture and strategy. Work across teams to implement and advance the adoption of complex strategic global solutions that give JPMorgan Chase a competitive advantage.

Ideal candidates, for this position, have served in technical leadership roles and are considered Subject Matter Experts with a depth of domain knowledge in architecting and delivering complex multi-tenant and multi-cloud solutions at scale and have demonstrated proficiency in developing/applying security centric and well architected frameworks across one or more cloud service providers.

Job responsibilities

  • Develops solution architectures, capability roadmaps, technical design specifications and reusable patterns/frameworks for cloud solutions
  • Advises cross-functional teams on technology selection for hosting of secure and compliant cloud solutions on public cloud platforms
  • Develops multi-year roadmaps aligned with business and architecture strategy and priorities
  • Creates complex and scalable coding frameworks using appropriate software design
  • Develops secure and high-quality production code, and reviews and debugs code written by others
  • Serves as the function’s go-to subject matter expert
  • Contributes to the development of technical methods in specialized fields in line with the latest product development methodologies
  • Champions the firm’s culture of diversity, equity, inclusion, and respect
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
  • Formal training or certification on software architecture concepts and 10+ years applied experience
  • Experience leading technology teams
  • Experience with development and application of Cloud well architected frameworks
  • Expertise in one or more programming language(s), applications, and architecture disciplines
  • Experience in solution enablement of complex multi-tenant and multi-cloud solutions
  • Experience applying expertise and new methods to determine solutions for complex architecture problems across various technical disciplines
  • Experience working in a matrix management model; utilizing virtual teams
  • Deep knowledge of Data & AI/ML architectures and application of industry standards for regulatory compliance
Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills
  • Financial Services Industry experience is preferred
  • Expert in Data & AI/ML cloud solution stacks on AWS, Azure and/or GCP
  • Expert in AWS, Azure and/or GCP Well Architected Frameworks
