Job Description

As a Technical Implementation Manager - Vice President (Team Lead) in Payments, you will be the single point of contact for the Riyadh Implementation team. Responsible for ensuring the team can manage the local implementation requests and provide the required support to Sales, Client Service and internal stakeholders. Additionally you will be responsible for the Project Management and Business Analysis for client Host-to-Host implementations, including PaySource for payment initiation, API (Application Programming Interface) and Open Banking implementations, and all forms of file-based information reporting.

Job responsibilities

  • Day to day management of the Riyadh Implementation team for local oversight
  • Support the team with training and development
  • Acts as an effective point of escalation and subject matter expert for the client, internal stakeholders and the team
  • Ensure the team is engaged and connected with the wider Emea implementation teams to develop product knowledge, process improvements and maintain a consistent set of project delivery standards
  • Delivers complex technical solutions to the firm’s largest global corporate and financial institution clients
  • Conducts technical scoping meetings with clients, to ensure the product and technical requirements are understood and satisfied in accordance with the client's business and technical needs, as well as, the firm's capabilities
  • Prepares Technical Statement of Work outlining product implementation options and timelines to meet both the client’s business and technical requirements
  • Supports clients during production migrations and production verification; provide timely status updates to the client and project team
  • Provide consultative early engagement support, to both Sales and Clients, on technical connectivity capabilities
  • Attends meetings and training as required, to continue development and product knowledge and become a subject matter expert in Technical Implementation
  • Identify and communicate process gaps and improvements opportunities; express willingness to own improvement initiatives; be recognized by partners as a process expert with ability to drive improvements

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • Experience implementing complex solutions involving a technical integration element – such as (but not limited to): SWIFT FIN, SWIFTNet FileAct, Host to Host, SFTP (Secure File Transfer Protocol), FTPS (File Transfer Protocol Secure), AS2 (Applicability Statement 2), API (application programming interface), JSON (JavaScript Object Notation), Open Banking, ISO 20022 XML, MT***
  • Project Management skills
  • Transaction Banking business and technical experience – Payments and Cash Management, Trade and supply Chain Services, Global Custody
  • Knowledge of market leading ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) and TMS (Treasury Management Systems) applications
  • Exceptional business and technical analytical skills
  • Attention to detail
  • Experience managing external clients and internal stakeholders

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • Experience of managing people an advantage
  • Knowledge of Saudi payment types - SADAD and Wage Protection System (payroll)
  • Knowledge of the Saudi Payments landscape
  • Agile, PRINCE2, Waterfall project management qualification or experience
  • Qualified SWIFT For Corporates Specialist and / or ACT CertICM
  • Extensive experience in Financial Services including FinTech organisations
