As a Project Manager/Business Analyst to join the Risk Projects Team and assist in executing change across the risk organization through business and technology projects. The candidate should have experience or familiarity with project management, business and/or data analysis, product design, quality assurance, and data architecture principles.

Job responsibilities

  • Document Business requirements / review business requirements written by Stakeholders
  • Create process business and/or data flows
  • Perform data sourcing analysis
  • Drive work stream tasks to ensure program success
  • Assist in managing Risk Reporting program roadmaps
  • Write test scripts, track defects, and host UAT calls with working groups
  • Maintain RAID logs and escalate issues and roadblocks to managers and stakeholders as needed

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • Minimum 1 year(s) experience as a Project Manager, Business Analyst, Product Manager, executing projects within the financial services industry
  • Experience in Risk, Finance and Regulatory, or technology.
  • Strong understanding of Project Management principles - well-organized, structured approach. Ability to achieve tight timelines on complex deliverables. Ability to manage and prioritize projects across cross-functional groups.
  • Strong understanding of user acceptance testing, and defect tracking
  • Familiarity with high-level data analysis principles and flowchart tools
  • Highly disciplined, self-motivated, and delivery-focused individual who is able to work independently
  • Experience using Agile including familiarity with roles and responsibilities, users stories, acceptance criteria, sprint and product backlog planning.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, ability to interact with individuals across departments / functions and with senior-level individuals

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • Degree or equivalent
  • Prince II, PMP (or similar) qualified
  • Scrum Master / Product Owner qualified
