As a Full-time Analyst in the 2026 Corporate & Investment Bank - Investment Banking Program, you will receive hands-on experience with extensive training. You will spend four weeks with our leaders and top consultants learning about our products, services and business practices through interactive learning tools, case studies and modeling sessions. We provide extensive pre-training coursework to build your financial and economic expertise.
Work alongside the top professionals in the business to come up with solutions that shape the global economy. Our bankers are focused on long-term relationships and developing strategies that help our government, institutional and corporate clients grow and innovate. We do this by providing sound advice, helping them access funds and making connections, all while helping clients manage the many risks in today’s complex environment.
Our industry and product teams work together to develop and execute strategies that help our clients grow and achieve their objectives in today’s global markets. Our industry and product teams include: Consumer & Retail, Corporate Finance Advisory, Diversified Industries, Energy, Equity Capital Markets, Financial Institutions, Financial Sponsors, Healthcare, Investment Grade Finance, Leveraged Finance, Media & Communications, Mergers & Acquisitions, Public Finance, Real Estate Gaming & Lodging, Regional Investment Banking, and Technology.
Job responsibilities
- Perform valuation analyses
- Work on mergers and acquisitions
- Build detailed financial models and execute transactions from pitch to close
- Analyze market data, building detailed financial models and prepare client presentations
- Develop innovative and creative ways to solve complex, real-world business challenges
- Learn how we help clients and communities grow, no matter their needs
- Sharpen your technical skills
- Build your professional network with mentors, senior executives and others
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- Excellent analytical, quantitative and communication skills
- Excellent leadership and collaborative skills
- Knowing your way around Excel, PowerPoint and Word
- Japanese fluency is required for this role
- Pursuing a degree qualification with solid academic background and an expected graduation of April 2025 through March 2026
- Available to start full time employment from April 2026
Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- Business level of English is preferred
- Expertise in finance or economics a plus
