As a Payments Risk Strategy Vice President within our Commercial and Investment Bank (CIB) Wholesale Credit Risk Team, you will manage a portfolio of high impact projects, have exposure to senior leadership and most of all, be a thought leader to shape and execute on critical assignments that effect positive change across the organization.
Job Responsibilities
- Lead programs end to end from the concept development to execution.
- Drive business analysis, conduct independent review and risk assessment of related to Payment products.
- Develop project proposals and execution plans in collaboration with Payments SMEs, credit experts and functional partners.
- Develop strong working relationships with Sales, Client Service, Operations, and business teams.
- Lead implementation plan for risk frameworks and change management programs, partnering with functional groups across (Product, Risk, Finance, Technology, Operations, Legal)
- Influence stakeholders and guide teams to collaborate to improve governance, efficiency, and risk processes.
- Lead cross line of business and regional engagement on transformation of initiatives.
- Own and contribute to wider medium/long-term Risk Management projects (with opportunities to run and participate in committees, working groups and help drive the technology agenda)
- Conduct research on emerging risks, regulatory news, industry, and portfolio trends to inform decision making.
- Design performance metrics, KPIs and executive presentations to key stakeholders.
- Assist in developing policy and procedure to drive governance, awareness, and control with regards to Payments
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- Bachelor’s degree in finance or a similar technical field
- 5+ years of experience in credit risk, payment products, Strategy or Process Transformation within financial services
- Ability to work independently and demonstrate leadership skills, capable of using data and critical thinking to make real-time decisions
- Strong, clear and concise written and verbal communication with ability to prepare executive level communication
- Excellent organizational and project management skills; able to manage competing priorities under tight deadlines
- Proven ability to collaborate, influence and build strong partnerships
- High degree of initiative, self-direction and ability to work well under pressure
- Strong Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel skills
Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- Prior knowledge and experience in Treasury Services, Liquidity and Cash solutions and/or digital payments
- Experience working with complex data sets and analytics tools such as Tableau and QlikView
