As an Employee Communications Associate within the Organizational Effectiveness & Oversight (OEO) team, you will collaborate with business leaders and other key stakeholders to develop communication strategies aligned to overall Home Lending business priorities. Organizational Effectiveness & Oversight (OEO) is the centralized Home Lending utility responsible for managing business change, developing automated business solutions, driving program management, leading employee readiness, and providing oversight and foundational support. You will engage across Home Lending on broad initiatives providing insight to all customer and employee experience improvement efforts in order to capture the ‘why’ behind changes and incorporate them into communications.

Job Responsibilities

  • Leverage business priorities, feedback and data to develop and assess communication plans and strategies to ensure employees are ready for change
  • Develop effective, targeted multi-media messages that meet communication plan objectives
  • Engage in established business processes to manage projects from inception to completion
  • Provide communication consultation, expertise and support for business-level or department-wide initiatives
  • Manage communications planning and activities with the business and projects teams to ensure initiatives are aligned with strategic vision and project deliverables. This includes ongoing planning and interaction with the business and project staff
  • Maintain and enhance employee tools to better meet the needs of the employee including Homepage and resource sites
  • Collaborate with Customer Experience to influence the strategy for initiatives

Required Qualifications, Capabilities and Skills

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Communication, English, or Journalism
  • Excellent writing, communication and editing skills. Knowledge of grammar, proofing, publication production and AP style
  • Time manager with ability to multi task projects, prioritize work and operate with minimal supervision
  • Strong leadership, presentation skills and works collaboratively to develop solid working partnerships with colleagues
  • Highly organized and attention to detail
  • A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected
  • Can systematically gather relevant information, interpret various types of data and apply logic to solve problems, make decisions and execute quickly in a fast paced environment

This is a full-time hybrid (3 days in office/2 days remote) role based in either Jacksonville FL, Columbus OH, or Plano TX. This role does not offer relocation assistance or immigration sponsorship.
