As a Product Associate in Home lending, you contribute to the team by leveraging your expertise in product development and optimization to make a significant impact, supported by user research and customer feedback to fuel the creation of innovative products and continuously improve existing offerings. Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams and play a crucial role in shaping the future of our products and ongoing success.

Job responsibilities
  • Partners with Product Management and Agility Leads to ensure a healthy, steady, prioritized backlog is ready and available to enable seamless development and delivery (require interactions with US Product & Business partners, expectation is to work in overlap shift between IST & ET)
  • Conducts initial assessment of intake / dependency and gathers more info as needed.
  • Translates product strategy and needs (e.g., customer, operational, organizational, etc.) into buildable descriptions and designs.
  • Creates dependencies and queues for review / decisioning with Product Management
  • Identify, communicate and escalate risks, blockers, and impacts that could delay the delivery of projects. Ensures timely and coordinated delivery of product/features. Act as voice of the customer and drive product vision
  • Manages the end to end execution of a story/feature - from creation to delivery, and responsible for defining and prioritizing key product features, related epics and stories
  • Owns your product backlog, prioritization of epics and management of your dependency sub-tasks
  • Manages existing product features and actively lead the research definition and development of new features to advance the product roadmap
  • Analyzes, tracks, and evaluates product metrics including work to time, cost, and quality targets across the product development life cycle
  • Builds strong, cohesive partnerships with internal and external stakeholders, support partners and works effectively in a matrix organization
  • Supports data accuracy in delivery tools (Jira, Jira Align)
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
  • Proven working experience in project or product management
  • 3 + years experience working on or managing collaborative projects in financial services or technology setting
  • Excellent client-facing and internal communication skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication, both upward and downward, skills
  • Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multitasking skills
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office, including data pull and interpretation and slides presentation
  • Firm understanding of the mortgage servicing business
Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills
  • Home Lending process and procedures and business applications knowledge would be advantageous
  • Experience in product management focused on technology customer facing products is an advantage
  • Project management experience preferred
  • Technical understanding, knowledge of cloud infrastructure & data management preferred
