As a Senior Product Associate in the Loan IQ Product Owner team, you will contribute to the team by leveraging your expertise in product development and optimization to make a significant impact, supported by user research and customer feedback to fuel the creation of innovative products and continuously improve existing offerings. You will also collaborate closely with cross-functional teams and play a crucial role in shaping the future of our products and ongoing success.
Job responsibilities
  • Lead, coordinate and partner with the Business to analyze and design new business processes
  • Conduct root cause analysis and problem solving
  • Design future state business processes, systems, and organizations, driving stakeholders to consider all possibilities and move beyond current thought processes
  • Assess the quantifiable, qualitative, and control benefits that the business can obtain by moving from the current state business design to the future state business design
  • Improve business procedures, work instructions and job aids, and training materials
  • Lead projects in unfamiliar areas requiring different types of approaches and tools
  • Define the business case, guide chartering, apply proper project management techniques, collect customer feedback, and convert to measurable targets and measures of success, obtain sponsor approval to initiate the project
  • Develop and manage plans throughout project lifecycle; includes prioritization, risk mitigation and monitoring progress
  • Identify and work to remove barriers that slow or prevent the successful attainment of defect reduction and quality goals
  • Provide constant, ongoing communication to ensure barriers/obstacles to business process improvement are removed and necessary support is always provided
  • Monitor future state process performance, verify benefits, complete project summary, complete closing activities and effectively conclude the work
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
  • 3+ years of prior experience in Banking, Mortgage, Financial Analysis, Loan Operations, Asset Based Lending, and Loan Servicing
  • Working knowledge of Loan IQ
  • Previous experience and expertise and a true passion for process innovation, design, and digital technology with proven success delivering complex, large scale initiatives
  • Demonstrated project management & leadership experience in financial services
  • Strong financial and lending domain experience and knowledge
  • Demonstrated experience managing and collaborating with multiple teams, coordinating across different cross-functional initiatives, and reaching consensus with diverse stakeholders
  • Developing knowledge of data analytics and data literacy
Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills
  • Bachelor’s degree
  • IT or technical experience a plus
  • Liquidity Expertise
  • Demonstrated ability to work with large data sets
