As a Vice President – Records Management Program / Project Manager. The individual will be part of a team responsible for coordinating with the CCB Sub-Lines of Business and functional partners to implement Firmwide Data Risk Management policies and standards within the CCB organization relevant to data retention and destruction. The person filling this position will need to be able to partner and work across multiple cross-functional areas, including Technology, Risk, Finance, Compliance, Legal, Controls, Centralized Records Management Program and the Firmwide Data Management office. The person will need to understand key business initiatives in CCB Products and to integrate data retention and destruction activities accordingly.

Job Responsibilities

  • Lead the development and execution of multi-year program deliverables related to specific records management workstreams (i.e., applications (ARM), shared drive, know your records (KYR)
  • Identify reusable approaches to remediating records and defining ongoing sustainable processes
  • Develop subject matter expertise in records management (firmwide retention requirements, firmwide tools, CCB record types)
  • Develop metrics, reporting and presentation materials that include key messages, control and operational effectiveness, and overall status
  • Maintain strong network with key stakeholders including CCB Lines of Business, Technology, Firmwide Records Management Program and Compliance
  • Serve as a key point of escalation and liaise with partners to resolve issues where required
  • Understand, assess and monitor records management risks and key risk indicators
  • Facilitate the implementation of the Data Risk Management policy and standard requirements for data retention and destruction related to identification, classification, storage, retention and destruction of information (records and data)
  • Support the rollout and maturity of the records management governance processes and CDO oversight across CCB
  • Partner with stakeholders and Controls Management to ensure appropriate control environment and manage/advise on escalated issues
  • Solicit input from business constituents and achieve long-term strategic solutions for business partners

Required qualifications, skills and capabilities:

  • 5+ years of industry experience related to data, including data management, governance and controls
  • 5+ years of Project Management experience, including multi-year, complex programs that span diverse stakeholder groups and matrixed resource model
  • Experience in Records Management, including an understanding of legal obligations and regulatory requirements and the data lifecycle
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills with the ability to present information in differing degrees of detail and form depending on the audience
  • Strong organizational and prioritization skills with ability to adapt in an evolving and changeable environment
  • Proven ability to build strong partnerships with colleagues
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to quickly define and deconstruct problems leveraging strong analytical and end-to-end problem solving skills.
  • Takes accountability for completing deliverables and enjoys owning tasks and jumping in to deliver
  • Independent, organized, self-motivated and a team player
  • Ability to think through and outline work processes in a thoughtful and detailed manner
  • Possesses excellent judgment, knows when to escalate complex issues to senior management or functional partners with relevant expertist

Preferred qualifications, skills and capabilities:

  • Advanced skills with the core MS Office suite (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint)
  • Advanced skills with standard PM tools (e.g. MS Project, JIRA, Kanban)
  • Familiarity with process-mapping tools (e.g. MS Visio, etc.)
  • Familiarity with data wrangling and dashboard tools (e.g. Alteryx, Tableau)
