Job Description

The CIB Chief Data Office (CDO) is a business-centric organization whose purpose is to unlock value for our stakeholders through timely delivery of high-quality, compliant data. The CIB CDO oversees the overall strategy and execution of the CIB data agenda.

As a Data Management VP candidate, you will join a growing team, recognized for its thought leadership and execution excellence. You will work on complex implementations, cutting edge technology in analytics dealing with firmwide high profile topics, new regulations and requirements. You will build your professional skills in a variety of product and project experiences by understanding the issues we face and implementing solutions to help remediate them.

Job responsibilities

  • Manage day to day governance of data risk management tooling requests, requirements and status
  • Support Data Risk Management Tooling Leads in end-to-end implementation delivery which includes defining requirements, performing UAT and implementing product control solutions
  • Drive innovation in data governance processes by implementing AI/ML, RPA solutions, creating value through automation.
  • Collaborate with cross functional teams like (Data Science Team, Legal Team, Data Risk Pillars) to identify opportunities for strategic process re-engineering
  • Manage and prioritize multiple projects while ensuring timely delivery of high-impact initiatives
  • Oversee the development of advanced analytics model, predictive analysis, and machine learning algorithms to drive insights and process improvement in data governance
  • Develop a strategic roadmap for Intelligent Solutions deployment, identifying areas where automation can drive the most impact
  • Ensure proper governance and compliance protocols are followed in the solution implementation
  • Collaborate with Center of Excellence team to integrate Intelligent automation solutions within existing systems and workflows
  • Communicate complex technical concepts and the value of automation to non-technical stakeholders
  • Build strong relationships with data pillar leads to align intelligent automation and data science initiatives with organization priorities and Report, escalate to management as needed.

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • 7+ years of related experience in financial services, product management (required), project management and/or strategy. Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience required
  • Experience in strategic and tactical initiatives
  • Excellent prioritization, time-management and organizational skills
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills including attention to detail and multi-tasking
  • Strong communication skills – verbal, written and technical (e.g., PowerPoint). Ability to present concise, direct and timely communications to executives, management and key partners; strong presentation skills is essential
  • Ownership mindset: Take ownership and accountability for area of responsibility
  • Proactive problem solving, owning the issues and having the determination to follow tasks/issues through
  • Work independently as well as part of a team.
  • Absorb and present complex ideas quickly and accurately and ability to shift perspective from high level 'big picture' to low-level detail.
  • Ability to develop and maintain strong partnerships with numerous teams and key stakeholders.
  • Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office (e.g., Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Visio, Project).
