Job Summary:
As a Trade Lifecycle Manager - Associate within our innovative banking team, you will take a lead role in acquiring, managing, and retaining meaningful relationships that deliver an outstanding experience to our customers. This role provides an opportunity to build your career in Trade Lifecycle, in an environment that values creativity and excellence.
Job Responsibilities:
- Working closely with new clients to determine onboarding requirements for Trade Services. Take the lead for execution of Transitions business and configuration work on core systems
- Working with internal stakeholders to ensure requirements are understood and delivered throughout each stage of the process.
- Working closely with project teams on Transitions, configuration work on core systems, system enhancements and new builds, providing requirements, reviewing design, planning testing, data migration & implementation phases.
- Working with technology & product partners to review & improve the design of systems, championing improvements to process flows to ensure scalability & to minimise manual touchpoints.
- Optimizing Process and system with a strong focus on the operational toolset supporting IMOS clients.
- Navigate within the organization & align key stakeholders to influence, build consensus & get things done
- Identify & proactively manage risk to delivery
- Ensure strong controls are in place as well as standardisation in the end-to-end operating model.
- Drive &/or support training strategies & communications to drive successful operational adoption
- Create & deliver executive communications, status reporting, & metrics.
Required qualifications, capabilities and skills:
- Strong background & understanding the end to end lifecycle (e.g. order management and execution, risk management, trade capture, settlements, confirmations, position-keeping, accounting, regulatory requirements) across multiple financial products (Cash Equities / Fixed Income, Cleared / non-cleared Derivatives, FX etc.).
- Quick learner with strong attention to detail
- Ability to clearly define and articulate business requirements. Excellent written, verbal & presentation communication skills
- Able to take an idea from inception to delivery, & support business analysis with requirements & metrics
- Excellent problem-solving skills to identify, understand & address operational & technical issues, taking the initiative to drive change & enhance controls
- Results-oriented, flexible individual who can easily & efficiently transition across topics & disciplines
- Ability to navigate a complex & matrixed environment to build relationships with & influence colleagues, business leaders & functional partners
- Ability to partner in a virtual team environment across multiple locations
- Ability to connect with operations teams to influence current state mindset, help them adapt to a changing environment
- Motivated & able to deliver with minimal supervision, whilst working effectively in a team
Preferred qualifications, capabilities and skills:
- Skills of Alteryx, Xceptor, Tableau and python coding will be an added advantage
