Job Description

DESCRIPTION:

Duties: Lead the design, development, and transformation of firm tools and reports. Design, develop, test, deploy, maintain and enhance software/tooling solutions. Apply technical expertise to challenging programming and design problems. Redesign user interfaces to adapt to new features and user requirements. Collaborate with business and technical partners to identify and scope the opportunities. Gather requirements, solve technical problems, and propose complete solutions. Own technology delivery and influence business stakeholders in prioritizing the delivery roadmap. Manage software implementation which includes prioritizing and supervising work of other engineers. Provide assistance in shaping the continued build out of platforms primarily focused on tech portfolio analytics and reactive/proactive/preventative data risk and data quality. Lead activities around migrating applications to the Public Cloud. Manage, mentor, and coach Junior developers. Provide production support to users and stakeholders during working hours.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Minimum education and experience required: Master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field of study plus 5 years of experience in the job offered or as a Lead Software Engineer, Application Developer, Software Engineer, Software Developer, or related occupation.

Skills Required: Requires 5 years of experience in the following: designing and developing user interfaces in Java. Requires experience in the following: Agile SDLC; Application Architecture Disciplines; Apache Kafka; Docker; Jenkins; Spring; SQL; Angular; Bootstrap; REST; SOAP; Kubernetes; AWS Cloud Services; Oracle; GIT; Automated Testing; Functional Testing; and Performance Testing.

Job Location: 575 Washington Blvd, Jersey City, NJ 07310. Telecommuting permitted up to 40% of the week.

Full-Time. Salary: $197,000 - $215,000 per year.
