Job Description

This is an excellent opportunity to utilise your business knowledge as well as enhancing it further as you gain experience and become involved in more complex product development during periods where on-boarding is not taking place.

As a Fund Accounting Onboarding & Conversion Team - Vice President in Operations you will provide Subject Matter Expert leadership to internal and external partners to ensure a smooth transition of the book of business from clients or exiting incumbents. You will work with the program teams and leads to review cross product dependencies and requirements, ensuring Fund Accounting Onboarding are part of the program steer co and decision makers in relation to all elements of the FA program.

Job responsibilities

  • Understands and articulates the data requirements and operating models of client books of business in order to facilitate successful onboarding, (working closely with Subject Matter Experts in FA and other business partners), coordinates our product, product development with technology partners
  • Maintains close working relationship with each business partner (e.g. Product Development, OSD, Client service, Product, Technology etc)
  • Gathers, understands and documents business requirements and support the preparation of functional specifications
  • Pursues the resolution of business issues identified during planning and testing phases.
  • Works within the team to co-ordinate project efforts and delivery plans
  • Ensures all program documentation is recorded in the pre defined repository
  • Flags any non standard or bespoke requirements identified in the discovery & documentation phases to the steer committee, product & operations gate leads for direction

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • Accounting or Project Management qualification would be advantageous
