Valuation Control Group (VCG) is organized along business lines including Corporate & Investment Bank (Macro Products, Credit, Equities, Securitized Products, IB Risk), CIO, Treasury & Corporate (CTC), Asset Management, Consumer & Community Banking (CCB) and Commercial Banking (CB). Clients of the group include senior management, business heads, regulators, and both internal and external audit. The group also works closely with the Traders, CFOs, Market Risk, and Middle Office to ensure a complete understanding of business issues and the accurate execution of valuation policy.
As an Associate within VCG team, your primary responsibility will be to work on automation and redesign of the existing implementations using technologies like Alteryx, Python, Excel VBA, BI tools like Tableau, etc.
Job responsibilities
- Proven experience with Alteryx Designer and Alteryx Server (minimum 2-3 years).
- Strong understanding of ETL processes and data manipulation using Alteryx.
- Proficient in workflow automation, scheduling, and deployment using Alteryx Server.
- Experience in working with large datasets and optimizing data workflows for performance.
- Familiarity with databases (e.g., SQL, Oracle), APIs, and integration with Alteryx.
- Basic knowledge of Python, VBA, or other scripting languages (a plus).
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues.
- Adhere to the control, governance, and development standards for intelligent solutions.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with different teams.
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- Strong understanding and 2-3 years working experience in building workflows using Alteryx.
- Should have Alteryx Core certification.
- Working experience on Python.
- Analytical, quantitative aptitude and attention to detail
- Strong verbal and written communications skills
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- Experience in developing dashboards on BI Tools like Tableau is a plus
- Knowledge of finance in general will help but not mandatory
