Job Description
DESCRIPTION:
Duties: Plan, coordinate, and execute securities and loan transactions in the form of high yield bonds, leveraged loans, and preferred equity placements. Lead deal teams through corporate refinancing, general corporate purpose debt raises, dividend recapitalizations, leveraged buyouts, and acquisition financings. Responsible for simultaneous live deal processes with multiple work streams focused on data analysis, comparables analysis, and strategic planning. Conduct and present technical analysis and modeling on credit-specific financials, comparables, and general capital markets themes. Responsible for working on legal workstreams, including term sheets negotiations, commitment paper negotiations, credit agreement negotiations, fee letter negotiations, and general legal work surrounding the maintenance of an ongoing facility. In charge of leading the due diligence process for business, legal, regulatory, cyber, accounting, and financial for deal processes. In charge of junior analysts, analysts, and junior associates on the deal teams. This position requires up to 10% domestic travel.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Minimum education and experience required: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Accounting, or related field of study plus 2 years of experience in the job offered or as Investment Banker, Senior Associate, Audit & Assurance Senior Associate, Audit & Assurance Staff, or related occupation. The employer will alternatively accept a Master's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Accounting, or related field of study plus 1 year of experience in the job offered or as Investment Banker, Senior Associate, Audit & Assurance Senior Associate, Audit & Assurance Staff, or related occupation.
Skills Required: Requires experience in the following: Financial statements; capital structures; leveraged buyout deals; business, accounting, and legal due diligence on clients; credit analysis to ensure compliance of covenants and assess general creditworthiness; debt transaction; and bond math.
Job Location: 383 Madison Avenue, New York, NY 10179. This position requires up to 10% domestic travel.
Full-Time. Salary: $175,000 per year - $225,000 per year.
