Job Description

DESCRIPTION:

Duties: Conduct market and competitive landscape assessments to analyze opportunities that enhance payment and treasury services product offerings and technology, expand into new markets and client segments, and make strategic recommendations to the business. Identify emerging technology trends and market-leading FinTech solutions to advise Product, Operations, and Technology stakeholders on strategic partnerships to grow and enhance capabilities. Perform financial and data analysis and develop investment theses to support strategic equity investments in target FinTech companies, including business model analysis, technology assessment, and growth model evaluation. Create decision models across build versus buy versus partner scenarios to help senior management make decisions on closing current product gaps and accelerating internal product build via partnership. Drive multidisciplinary teams including Product, Design, Data, Sales, Finance, and Technology to prototype and pilot potential new partnerships before entering into long-term commercial deals. Responsible for structuring and negotiating strategic partnership deals, commercialization of partnerships and managing executive level relationships with FinTechs. Contribute to the development of cutting-edge thought leadership on the future of payments and corporate treasury.


QUALIFICATIONS:

Minimum education and experience required: Master’s degree in Engineering Management, Business Administration, Technology Management, or related field of study plus 5 years of experience in the job offered or as an Industry Solutions Manager, Product Performance Management Specialist, Strategic Partnerships Manager, or related occupation. The employer will alternatively accept a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering Management, Business Administration, Technology Management, or related field of study plus 7 years of experience in the job offered or as an Industry Solutions Manager, Product Performance Management Specialist, Strategic Partnerships Manager, or related occupation.

Skills Required: Requires experience in the following: Conducting market and competitive landscape assessments of cash management and trade product offering and technology; Conducting due diligence on Fintechs for potential portfolio and partnership companies including financial, business model analysis, and technology evaluation; Creating decision models across build versus buy versus partner; Creating analytical business cases and go-to-market plans for partners; Assessing technologies relevant to Cash Management and Trade product offerings including Fintechs, Blockchain, APIs, Open banking, Mobile, Big data, Artificial Intelligence, and Digital security; Developing innovation point of view, thought leadership, and investment theses; Holding discussions on trends in disruptive technologies and innovation in the Treasury and Trade solutions domain.

Job Location: 383 Madison Avenue, New York, NY 10179. Telecommuting permitted up to 40% of the week.

Full-Time. Salary: $176,571 - $187,500 per year.
