Global Finance & Business Management (“GF&BM”) India is a combined LOB-aligned (Line of Business-aligned) finance & business support team located in India and is part of JPMorgan’s global capability center (GCC). We are part of the Office of the CFO (OCFO) organization within JPMorgan, which has 13000+ people across the globe, majority of whom are tasked with managing the firm’s Finance function, responsible for reporting quarterly earnings and complying with regulatory requirements along with managing the firm’s capital.
Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) will be primarily leading and coordinating the budgeting and forecasting process, including the short- and long-term projection of earnings and capital over varying economic scenarios. FP&A operates in close cooperation with firm-wide groups in each line of business to prepare management reports and presentations for the Operating Committee and the Board of Directors.
Job Responsibilities
- Designing data visualizations in Tableau & Qlik Sense and prepare high quality dashboards for various stakeholders including senior management.
- Working with large volume of data and creating high performance complex visualizations using multiple charts and calculations.
- Maintainig and developing efficient workflows in Alteryx to eliminate manual intervention.
- Understanding and learning the business process and develop good understanding of data.
- Analyzing, Designing, Developing, Testing, Debuging and deploying automation scripts in Python or UiPath along with documentation to meet business requirements.
- Working with finance managers to understand the process, pain areas and propose and execute automation by leveraging Alteryx, Python, UiPath or a combination of these.
Required qualifications, capabilities and skills
- Bachelor's degree in Information Science / Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, or a related field.
- 5+ years of work experience, preferably in Financial Service.
- Advance knowledge of Alteryx, Tableau or QlikView/Qlik Sense with hands on experience in SQL and/or Python, AWS platform and offerings.
- Understanding of machine learning algorithms, focusing on classification, forecasting, prediction and knowledge of financial instruments and their accounting treatment.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to learn the process and its nuances; propose and execute solution to make an efficient wholesome process.
- Team player - Ability to work in an Agile Team and follow common good practices.
- Excellent communication skills - written and verbal. Communicate in an effective manner
