Job Description

This is an exciting opportunity to join the Central Controls team within the APAC Control Management.

APAC Control Management is an organization of over 300 people providing regional coverage across lines of businesses, Corporate Functions, and 14 country locations in APAC. As the APAC Control Project Manager, you will coordinate the global control programs into the region and be responsible for driving and implementing APAC initiatives to enhance regional & location control oversight and governance while maintaining strong partnership with APAC locations, businesses, and functions as providing PMO support. You will be required to manage multiple Control programs, project delivery, stakeholder management and process improvement. The project manager will work closely with the global control partners as well as senior leaders in APAC across Legal, Compliance, Risk, Audit, Finance, HR, Technology, Operations, and all other businesses.

Job responsibilities:

  • Lead and engage with control and program colleagues across the firm to ensure that responsibilities for program expectation and deliverables
  • Build and maintain a strong project governance structure and process to ensure accurate and timely reporting as well as effective & efficient delivery of the assigned program or sub-program
  • Lead communication strategy throughout the project to ensure all stakeholders are aware of milestones, project status and escalations
  • PMO supporting on APAC regulatory exams
  • Program BAU implementation and provide post implementation monitoring and oversight.
  • Partner and keep strong working relationships with central control teams, key stakeholders across the Firm
  • Review and analyze program related data (e.g., KRI/KPI) to proactively identify risks and issues to support business-related programs
  • Involve in other key global, strategic change control projects and ad-hoc, as directed

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • 5 plus years of experience in Financial Services in Program Management
  • Experience in working with global teams partnering and managing with stakeholders across US, EMEA and APAC
  • Ability to present complex topics and influence solution to senior management
  • Strong collaborator with succinct communication skill
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

  • Experience in controls, audit, risk management, compliance, and controller
