Job Description

An Agency Securities Lending Trader is responsible for trading activities and decisions around discretionary lending programs including owning the borrower relationship, client revenue maximization and performance optimization.

The trader represents Agency Securities Finance within the borrower community and owns the borrower agenda within JPMorgan; ensuring they translate and deliver the client lending mandate into meaningful borrower derived revenue opportunities and wider JPM strategic securities lending agenda.

This role will provide an excellent opportunity to be immersed within the business, and obtain a solid foundation for understanding the securities financing market.

Candidates must be able to think critically, and possess exceptional communication, interpersonal and analytical skills, and be able to manage initiatives to drive change and improvements within the business.

As an Agency Securities Financing - Trading Analyst you will be responsible for daily tasks assisting trading preparation, data analysis and completing various trading desk related reporting. Longer term and ad hoc projects will include analysis of book, optimization opportunities and relative value of potential trades. Additionally the analyst will be involved in improving/automating desk reporting, and assisting with enhancing existing desk legal documentation, procedures and controls.
