Job Description

Asia Core Cash Operations is responsible for completing fund transfer requests/payments received from our clients both financial & non-financial institutions.

As a Payment Lifecycle Manager II within Asia Cash Operations, you will be directly responsible for the day-to-day operations, including transaction processing – payments and receivable; ecommerce payments. You will have to manage a team of approx. 10 staff members providing service and clearing services in a 24 X 5 environment, supporting Global Core Cash Operations encompassing multiple markets across APAC. You will have a direct reporting line into the Vice President — ACCO and will be directly responsible for the day to day operations, including transaction processing, You will be responsible for understanding the key metrics and risk components within drive each LOB and manage the team to meet the financial goals and objectives put forth by these LOB’s, while partnering globally with the regions where the business operations are located.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Manage overall KPI’s and KRI’s of the processes
  • Manage overall management and oversight of the assigned branches
  • Manage team performance; training and feedback
  • Exhibit full knowledge and thorough understanding of the entire Cash Operations functions across multiple locations
  • Keep abreast of new technologies and applications, and their implications for assigned area
  • Recognize and drive regional improvement opportunities arising from local/global situations
  • Ensure all operation procedures are in compliance with industry and legal regulatory rules and guidelines both locally and globally
  • Build exceptional relationship with business partners and stakeholders
  • Ensure implementation of best practices across the assigned branches
  • Execute regional projects across the branches in Asia
  • Ensure sufficient internal controls and procedures to minimize risk – able to drive the risks and controls agenda

Required qualifications, skills and capabilities:

  • Bachelor's degree required
  • Has at least 8 years Cash Operations/Product experience and in leadership roles
  • Client focus minded
  • Knowledge of various aspects of International Payment Processing Operations
  • Excellent communication and presentations skills across various stakeholders and senior management
  • Intermediate/Advanced experience using Microsoft Office, including Excel, Visio and PowerPoint
  • Excellent analytical and logical thinking to understand and analyze complex business processes
  • Strong organizational and prioritization skills, detail-oriented, and strong interpersonal skills
  • A proactive approach to problem solving, taking ownership of issues and having the determination to follow through.
  • Escalate issues as appropriate.
  • An acute client focus.
  • Strong PC, project management, and analytical skills.
  • Experience of working / partnering with Risk, Audit and Compliance to ensure that the overall organizational objectives are met.
