Job Description

DESCRIPTION:

Duties: Responsible for coaching software development teams and product teams to improve their ability to iterate on the product development. Develop a culture of collaborative learning, fostering deeper understanding of the frameworks and guiding the teams to develop practices that will increase their ability to reduce the time to market and develop the right product in a sustainable way. Guide the product team with key performance indicators to add to the tools for tracking progress. Provide teams with necessary support to address impediments. Manage delivery team metrics to evaluate progress against delivery milestones. Establish and organize quarterly plans that align with the goals and strategies of the enterprise. Coordinate the resolution of internal and external dependencies across value streams and shared services. Responsible for confirming that the teams meet the security and governance requirements, as well as understand engineering delivery processes and change management when they are developing the increments of the product. Assist engineering teams in defining and deploying new product development processes and in facilitating the continuous improvement of existing processes. Work with management to improve the software engineering processes associated with continuously building, deploying, and updating software. Telecommuting permitted up to 40% of the week.


QUALIFICATIONS:

Minimum education and experience required: Bachelor's degree in Applied Computer Science, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or related field of study plus 7 years (84 months) of experience in the job offered or as a Agility Lead, Software Engineer, Scrum Master, IT Consultant, or related occupation. The employer will alternatively accept a Master’s degree in Applied Computer Science, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or related field of study plus 5 years (60 months) of experience in the job offered or as an Agility Lead, Software Engineer, Scrum Master, IT Consultant, or related occupation.

Skills Required: Requires experience in the following: Requires experience with the following: working in technology organizations; large scale Agile coaching experience with Scrum, Lean, and Kanban; Facilitating planning at the enterprise level as a Release Train Engineer or Senior Scrum master; leading cross functional distributed teams; SDLC and Agile principles to transform IT teams to Agile Product based model teams; Service Now; Jira; Jira Align; and Confluence. Must possess the following certifications: SAFe 5 Program Owner/Manager, SAFe Scrum Master,Certified SAFe 5 Agilist

Job Location: 8181 Communications Pkwy, Plano, TX 75024. Telecommuting permitted up to 40% of the week.
