Job Description
DESCRIPTION:
Duties: Assist in the daily implementation of a portfolio strategy serving institutional & retail clients. Support the analysis and execution of US Equity Structured Investment strategies. Assist in implementing buy/sell decisions by sending down orders in equities, futures, and treasuries, monitoring cash flows amongst various accounts, communicating with trading teams, and monitoring futures hedging. Keep abreast of portfolio positioning, market news, and trades. Analyze/reconcile position discrepancies. Monitor account guidelines and restrictions. Perform investment performance reviews. Work with various individuals and stakeholder groups on projects related to portfolio management, including research initiatives, data analysis, stock fundamentals and valuation, client account transitions, transaction cost analysis, and portfolio analytics.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Minimum education and experience required: Master’s degree in Finance, Economics, Mathematics, Statistics, Data Analytics, or related field of study plus 1 year of experience in the job offered or as a Portfolio Investment, Product Control Associate, Assurance Associate, or related occupation.
Skills Required: Requires experience in the following: VBA; Portfolio Attribution and Analytics; Transaction Cost Analysis; Macroeconomic Analysis; Derivatives Pricing and Valuation; and Quantitative Analysis including regression modeling & back-testing; Requires knowledge of the following: Python; Bloomberg Terminal; Bloomberg API (Coding Language): Bloomberg Query Language, Bloomberg Data Points, and Bloomberg Data History; R; SQL; Tableau; Regression Testing; Financial Accounting; Factor Model Analysis; Econometrics and Statistics; and Stock Financial Analysis using DCF. Knowledge may be gained through work experience, graduate coursework, research and/or internship.
Job Location: 277 Park Avenue, New York, NY 10172. Telecommuting permitted up to 40% of the week.
Full-Time. Salary: $163,000 - $163,000 per year.
