As an Infrastructure Engineer III at JPMorgan Chase within the Employee Platforms, you utilize strong knowledge of software, applications, and technical processes within the infrastructure engineering discipline. Apply your technical knowledge and problem-solving methodologies across multiple applications of moderate scope.

Job responsibilities
  • Apply technical knowledge and problem-solving methodologies to projects of moderate scope, focusing on improving data and systems at scale.
  • Ensure end-to-end monitoring of applications.
  • Resolve nuances and determine appropriate escalation paths.
  • Execute conventional approaches to address technical problems.
  • Drive daily activities supporting standard capacity process applications.
  • Partner with application and infrastructure teams to identify capacity risks and manage remediation.
  • Consider upstream and downstream data and system implications.
  • Make significant decisions for projects involving multiple technologies and applications.

Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills:

  • Formal training or certification in software engineering concepts with 3+ years of applied experience.
  • 10+ years of experience in a Windows Desktop Engineering environment.
  • 5+ years of expertise in Intune, Google Workspace, or VMware Workspace One.
  • Proficient in scripting with PowerShell for automated processes.
  • Expertise in troubleshooting Windows platforms and providing production solutions.
  • Strong knowledge of infrastructure disciplines such as hardware, networking, databases, storage, deployment, integration, automation, scaling, resilience, and performance assessments.
  • Experience with multiple cloud technologies and the ability to operate in and migrate across public and private clouds.
  • Drive to develop infrastructure engineering knowledge, data fluency, and automation skills.
Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills
  • Knowledge of SCCM OSD is preferred
  • BS/MS degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related subject.
