Job Summary
As a Fund servicing associate you will be responsible for the management, staffing, organization and development of a client team. Responsible for identifying complex fund issues and managing the delivery of services to clients, including meeting all regulatory deadlines.
Job Responsibilities
- Coordinate monthly expense projections, accruals, and asset-based fee calculations.
- Analyze disbursements and ensure accurate recording of complex financial transactions.
- Prepare monthly management and quarterly board reports, including financial statements and compliance summaries.
- Review semi-annual and annual reports for data integrity.
- Work closely with Mutual Fund Accounting and the tax department to ensure compliance and operational efficiency.
- Collaborate with legal counsel on updates to Prospectus and Statements of Additional Information.
Required qualifications, capabilities and skills
- Proven team management experience with strong leadership and staff development skills.
- Excellent communication, influencing, and negotiation skills.
- Ability to build and maintain collaborative relationships internally and with external clients.
- Strong organizational skills with experience in project and program management.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in the mutual funds industry, particularly in financial reporting, compliance, tax, fund administration, or fund accounting.
- BA/BS degree or equivalent experience.
- In-depth understanding of the investment industry, including SEC and IRS regulations, and GAAP standards.
