Join our team in Data Risk Management Governance, where you'll play a crucial role in ensuring adherence to Data Risk Management Policies, Standards, and Procedures. This position offers the opportunity to design and oversee execution strategies that drive success across the organization.
As a Data Risk Management Lead team-Vice President, you will ensure each Line of Business (LOB) and Corporate Function (CF) stays on track with data risk management. Your role involves creating project plans, engaging stakeholders, and evaluating solutions to align with compliance and policy requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage content for the firmwide retention schedule in Data Risk Requirements Manager (DRRM).
- Liaise with LOBs and External Counsel to address legal and regulatory additions.
- Develop retention schedules for new and emerging businesses.
- Utilize Excel for reporting and template building.
- Communicate effectively through presentations and written materials.
- Apply records management expertise and understand the regulatory lifecycle.
- Set and track goals, driving enhancements with the development team.
- Demonstrate strong leadership and partnership skills.
- Influence change collaboratively and manage execution activities for data governance.
Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills:
- 5+ years of project management delivery experience; especially in Data Risk Management or Data Protection.
- Excellent communication skills, able to articulate complex ideas.
- Strong interpersonal skills, comfortable working with all levels and functions.
- Ability to manage complexity and deliver solutions under tight deadlines.
- Strong organizational management skills and issue resolution expertise.
- Proficient in project management tools, Word, PowerPoint, and advanced Excel skills.
- Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent experience.
Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills:
- Membership in ARMA is a plus.
