Join our team as a key player in Data Risk Management Governance, where you'll ensure the execution of Firmwide Data Protection, Retention, and Classification governance. This role offers the opportunity to drive impactful projects and collaborate with diverse teams to enhance our data management practices.
As a Data Risk Management Governance Lead for Unstructured Data- Vice President , you will design and oversee execution to ensure compliance with Data Risk Management Policies. You’ll work closely with stakeholders to develop strategic project plans and align deliverables with policy requirements. Your role is crucial in assessing risks and implementing effective solutions.
Job Responsibilities:
- Drive project requirements and deliverables, managing milestones and action items.
- Develop strategies and translate analysis into business insights.
- Communicate progress and decisions to management with clear presentations.
- Lead meetings, drive agendas, and track actions.
- Monitor project details, escalating and resolving issues efficiently.
- Collaborate with technology groups to implement solutions.
- Analyze data using Excel to recommend firmwide approaches.
- Consolidate metrics into a cohesive view.
- Coordinate execution of Data Protection, Retention, and Classification Governance for unstructured data.
Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills:
- Proven project management delivery experience.
- Strong communication skills, able to articulate complex ideas.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, comfortable working with all levels.
- Ability to manage complexity and deliver under tight deadlines.
- Strong organizational management skills and issue resolution expertise.
- Proficient in project management tools, Word, PowerPoint, and advanced Excel skills.
- Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent experience.
Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills:
- Experience in Data Risk Management or Data Protection.
- Knowledge of data governance practices and compliance.
