Chase is looking for an experienced Product Manager to join the Chase Zelle team to work on the cutting edge of payments and the largest peer-to-peer payments platform in the US. We’re transforming customer experiences, simplifying the ways we do business, and driving toward product excellence.
As a Vice President, Product Manager, Zelle in the Chase team, you play a crucial role in supporting the end-to-end product development process and contributing to solutions that address customer needs. In this role, you will guide the strategy, backlog development, and delivery of critical initiatives to engage Chase customers throughout their use of Zelle. You will collaborate closely with design, technology, and analytics teams to develop, experiment, and test different user experience constructs.
Job responsibilities:
- Partner with Zelle technology team, design and other product managers in supporting the product strategy and vision.
- Manage and refine product backlog initiatives to drive value in accordance with Zelle and stakeholder priorities.
- Execute business and technical requirement analysis and definition, creates initiatives, epics and Jira management.
- Partner with engineering leads to oversee development teams, ensuring proper sprint planning and proper utilization of development cycles
- Build and manage key relationships and communications with stakeholders
- Identifies process deficiencies, business risks, and escalates accordingly within the Risk and Control framework
- Ensure commitment for critical dependencies - including facilitating elaboration sessions, helping to secure resources, ensuring sprint alignment, etc
- Lead the completion of change management activities across functional partners and ensures adherence to the firm’s risk, controls, compliance, and regulatory requirements
- Effectively manage timelines and dependencies while monitoring blockers
- Demonstrate high attention to detail, and exemplary quality, thoroughness and completeness of work product
Required qualifications, skills and capabilities:
- 7+ years of digital product, financial services, technology or project management or relevant experience
- Experience working with cross functional teams like engineering, knowledgeable with payments architecture and digital space
- Effective organizational and project management skills and written and verbal communication skills
- Experience communicating effectively with diverse audiences across different parts of the business; ability to cultivate lasting relationships and collaborate effectively with multiple stakeholders
- Ability to independently own projects, programs, or critical workstreams end-to-end
- Experience in defining and building out product backlogs, roadmap and business models
- Proficient with the MS Office tools, JIRA and Confluence
