As a Program Risk Trader in our APAC team, you'll be at the forefront of market innovation, utilizing your expertise to predict index rebalancing events and facilitate client risk trades. As a Program Risk Trader in the APAC Program Risk Trading team, you will use your strong market and trading expertise to maintain and improve economic performance. You will predict index rebalancing events, back-test trading strategies and manage client risk trades, all while interacting with various trading desks to enhance trading relationships.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Work as a trader on the APAC Program Trading (PT) Risk team.
  • Use strong markets and trading expertise to maintain and improve PT Risk economic performance.
  • Predict index rebalancing events and back-test related trading strategies.
  • Utilize portfolio construction models to hedge and reduce factor exposures.
  • Research, risk manage, and execute client risk trades around index rebalance situations.
  • Constant interaction with cash equity, derivatives, and delta-1 trading and sales trading desks.

Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills:

  • Undergraduate or advanced quantitative degree.
  • Three or more years of sell-side or buy-side trading experience, ideally in program trading.
  • Experience executing and risk managing large portfolios; fluency in factor risks.
  • Exposure to statistical modeling, time series, or other data modeling experience.
  • Very self-motivated, willing to be part of a dynamic and competitive team.
  • Strong communication skills; must effectively engage with a diverse set of partners.
  • Coding experience in Python is strongly desired.

Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills:

  • Knowledge of kdb/q is a plus.
  • Fluency in Mandarin is a plus.
