As a Technology Support III team member in Infrastructure Platform (IP) , you will ensure the operational stability, availability, and performance of our production application flows. Encourage a culture of continuous improvement as you troubleshoot, maintain, identify, escalate, and resolve production service interruptions for all internally and externally developed systems, leading to a seamless user experience.
Job responsibilities
- Software Solution Execution: Develops and troubleshoots software solutions, employing innovative approaches to solve technical problems beyond conventional methods.
- Secure Code Creation: Produces secure, high-quality production code and maintains algorithms that synchronize with relevant systems.
- Architecture and Design Accountability: Creates architecture and design artifacts for complex applications, ensuring design constraints are met during software development.
- Data Analysis and Visualization: Gathers, analyzes, and visualizes data from large, diverse sets to continuously improve software applications and systems.
- Problem Identification and Improvement: Proactively identifies hidden problems and patterns in data, using insights to enhance coding hygiene and system architecture.
- Community Contribution: Engages in software engineering communities of practice, exploring new and emerging technologies, and fostering a culture of diversity, inclusion, and respect.
- Technical Expertise and Problem Solving: Applies technical knowledge to projects of moderate scope, focusing on improving data and systems at scale, and ensuring end-to-end application monitoring.
- Site Reliability and Automation: Champions site reliability practices, builds, supports, monitors, and automates web products on Private Cloud infrastructure, driving initiatives to enhance platform reliability.
- Collaboration and Service Level Management: Collaborates with team members and stakeholders to establish service level indicators, objectives, and error budgets, using data-driven analytics to improve service levels.
- Knowledge Sharing and Growth Support: Provides guidance, tools, and solutions to support firm growth, documents and shares knowledge within the organization, and works towards expertise in applications and platforms.
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- 3+ years of experience or equivalent expertise troubleshooting, resolving, and maintaining information technology services.
- App Infra Design, Maintenance & Support: 6+ years of hands-on experience in app infra design, maintenance & support, testing, and ensuring operational stability, with proficiency in coding in one or more languages.
- Corporate Environment Experience: Skilled in developing, debugging, and maintaining code in large corporate settings using modern programming and database querying languages.
- Software Development Life Cycle Knowledge: Comprehensive understanding of the SDLC, agile methodologies, CI/CD, application resiliency, and security practices.
- Technical Discipline Proficiency: Demonstrated knowledge in technical areas such as cloud, AI, machine learning, and mobile applications, with formal training or certification in engineering/infrastructure disciplines.
- Infrastructure and Cloud Expertise: Strong knowledge of infrastructure disciplines, including hardware, networking, databases, and cloud technologies, with experience in operating and migrating across public and private clouds.
- Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) Experience: Proven experience as an SRE in complex, mission-critical applications, with deep proficiency in reliability, scalability, performance, and security best practices.
- Observability and Monitoring Skills: Expertise in observability, monitoring, alerting, and telemetry collection using tools like Cloudwatch, Grafana, Dynatrace, Prometheus, and Splunk.
- Programming Fluency: Proficiency in at least one programming language, such as Python, Terraform, Ansible, Java Spring Boot, Shell Scripting, or .Net.
- Continuous Learning and Communication: Drive to self-educate and evaluate new technologies, with strong communication skills to mentor and educate others on site reliability principles and practices.

About the Team
