- Design, implement, deploy and manage scalable and secure cloud infrastructures and CI/CD pipelines on AWS Cloud
- Resolves most nuances and determines appropriate escalation path
- Implement and enforce security best practices and compliance requirements in cloud infrastructures and CI/CD pipelines
- Conduct regular security assessments and audits of cloud environment, and ensure proactive identification and resolution of infrastructure and application issues
- Work closely with development, operations, and security team to ensure seamless integration and delivery application
- Drives the daily activities supporting the standard capacity process applications
- Partners with application and infrastructure teams to identify potential capacity risks and govern remediation statuses
- Considers upstream/downstream data and systems or technical implications
- Be accountable for making significant decisions for a project consisting of multiple technologies and applications
- Adds to team culture of diversity, opportunity, inclusion, and respect
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- Formal training or certification on infrastructure engineering concepts and 3+ years applied experience
- Strong knowledge of one or more infrastructure disciplines such as hardware, networking terminology, databases, storage engineering, deployment practices, integration, automation, scaling, resilience, and performance assessments
- Collaborate with software development teams to design and implement application architectures that leverage cloud services, and participate in code reviews
- Deep knowledge of AWS Services, Infrastructure as code (IaC), and DevOps practices, as well as understands implementation on infrastructure as code (IaC) using tools such as AWS Cloud Formation, Terraform, or AWS CDK
- Develop, integrate automation build, test and maintain security scanning compliance requirements in cloud infrastructure and CI/CD pipelines, using the tools Jenkins, Git lab CI, and AWS code pipeline
- Strong knowledge of one or more scripting languages (e.g., Scripting, Python, Java, PowerShell, etc.), and experience in software engineering concepts
- Implement configuration management using tools in Ansible, Chef, or Puppet
- Experience with multiple cloud technologies with the ability to operate in and migrate across public and private clouds
- Set up and manage monitoring, logging, and alerting systems using AWS Cloud Watch, ELK Stack Prometheus, or similar tools
- Drives to develop infrastructure engineering knowledge of additional domains, data fluency, and automation knowledge
- Proficient in AWS services and cloud architecture
- Experience with infrastructure as code (IaC) tools such as Cloud Formation, Terraform, or AWS CDK
- Experience with containerization and orchestration tools (i.e. Dockers and Kubernetes)
- Strong knowledge of CI/CD tools like Jenkins, Git Lab, AWS Code Pipeline, or Spinnaker
