As a Senior Product Associate in Embedded Finance & Solutions, you contribute to the team by leveraging your expertise in product development and optimization to make a significant impact, supported by user research and customer feedback to fuel the creation of innovative products and continuously improve existing offerings. Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams and play a crucial role in shaping the future of our products and ongoing success.

Job responsibilities

  • Taking a product or feature from conception to successful market adoption.
  • Fortify design and client focus to build product experience with the end-to-end client journey in mind.
  • Coordinating with Operations and Technology to deliver strategic solutions.
  • Identify priorities and manage multiple workstreams coordinating activities across departments.
  • Ensure all risk management, legal, control, and compliance activities are done in line with JPMC standards in advance of product launch.
  • Track project progress and report effectively on status, blockers and changes. Accountable for creating, maintaining and communicating schedules, scorecards and plans.
  • Track resourcing of projects and drive resource balancing between different program priorities.
  • Leverage subject matter expertise in driving conversations and/or influencing decisions/direction with Business, Technology and functional partners.

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • 3+ years of experience or equivalent expertise in product management or a relevant domain area.
  • Proficient knowledge of the product development life cycle.
  • Experience in product life cycle activities including discovery and requirements definition.
  • Technical aptitude to allow for strong partnership on API first approach.
  • Developing knowledge of data analytics and data literacy.

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • Demonstrated ability to work in a highly matrixed program delivery structure.
  • Demonstrated ability to meet growth metrics and client/partner development objectives, specifically for emerging businesses versus mature financial services products.
  • Strong knowledge of emerging financial services technologies with a key emphasis on APIs, private labeling, SaaS models, and design thinking practices.
  • Understanding of the global payments industry.
