As a Product Owner within Home Lending Capital Markets (HLCM), you will be responsible for developing and executing the vision and roadmap for our Lines of Business updates. Your role will involve defining and reporting on product business metrics, including objectives and key results (OKRs), and collaborating with Product Management and Agility Leads to maintain a prioritized backlog for seamless development and delivery. You will conduct initial assessments of project intake and dependencies, create decision support tools, and ensure all issues are properly documented. Your commitment to timely delivery and data accuracy will be crucial in supporting our delivery tools like Jira and Jira Align.
Job Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement the vision and roadmap for HLCM's Lines of Business updates.
- Define and report on product business metrics, including objectives and key results (OKRs).
- Conduct initial assessments of project intake and dependencies, gathering additional information as needed.
- Create decision support tools and queues for review with Product Management.
- Collaborate with Product Management and Agility Leads to maintain a prioritized backlog for seamless development and delivery.
- Guarantee the timely and coordinated delivery of products and features.
- Assist the HL Business Management team with budget, forecast, compliance, reporting, and automation needs.
- Support specific Lines of Business (Secondary Marketing, MSR, Portfolio, Loan Delivery, Remedy, and Pledge) while fostering cross-functional collaboration across all LOBs.
- Ensure all issues are properly sized, linked, and documented in collaboration with Agility Leads.
Required qualifications, capabilities and skills:
- Must be able to work well in an environment with defined timelines and delivery schedules
- Proven working experience in project or product management (minimum 2 years’ experience working on or managing collaborative projects in financial services or technology setting)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multitasking skills
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office
- Understanding of the mortgage servicing business
- Excellent attention to detail
- Experience with scaled agility frameworks (Lean and Agile)
- Ability to understand technical concepts
Preferred qualifications, capabilities and skills:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, MIS
- Project management experience preferred
