Job Description
As a Transaction Execution Manager in our Credit Product Delivery team you will provide expertise in the negotiation and review of facility documentation and end-to-end transaction execution management for credit facilities. You will partner closely with JPMorgan's Coverage teams, as well as internal/external legal counsel and facility agents.
Job responsibilities
- Deliver best-in-class documentation negotiation management and transaction execution of credit facilities and ancillary documentation focused on the Latin American market
- Review and support front office in negotiating legal documentation across corporate lending categories, with a focus on Investment Grade and Non-Investment Grade syndicated and bilateral facilities
- Liaising with internal/external counsel to prepare and review transactional documentation
- Draw on expertise to suggest solutions for appropriate stakeholders (Bankers and/or Debt Capital Markets, Credit, Legal, Compliance, Tax, etc.) as necessary, ensuring they are brought into the debate in a timely manner to reach a resolution
- Manage controls framework, reporting and escalation for transaction execution; including preparing and coordinating documentation deviations and approvals during negotiations
- Maintain oversight of the deal closing process
- Drive Global Banking Client & Deal Support (GB CDS) wider projects and initiatives
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- Minimum 8 years of experience in documentation negotiation management and transaction execution coordination of credit facilities with demonstrated knowledge and understanding of loan documentation, LSTA standard and auxiliary documentation
- Strong understanding of lending products and agreements including, but not limited to leveraged finance, acquisition finance and working capital finance
- Solid understanding of credit execution, transaction management and banking processes
- Decision-making capabilities and the ability to identify problems and drive to a resolution
- Excellent coordination skills and a strong control mindset
- Demonstrated ability to manage relationships, both internally and externally
- Good organization skills, and ability to work well under pressure and to tight deadlines, including strong prioritization skills
- Language skills: Fluent in English and Spanish; with advanced proficiency in Portuguese
