As an Executive Director, you'll support the Global Private Bank Chief Risk Officer, promoting innovation and influencing key decisions. As an Executive Director within the Risk Management and Compliance team, you will be at the forefront of risk management strategic initiatives, working closely to support the Global Private Bank Chief Risk Officer as an individual contributor. This is an exciting opportunity to drive innovation, influence key decisions, and contribute to the growth, risk culture and resilience of our organization. You will support the CRO in executing strategic initiatives and managing risk as well as collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive business growth and ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
Job Responsibilities:
- Review and challenge new business initiatives and product offerings, identifying and mitigating risks as part of a robust change management program
- Review and challenge the material risk inventory
- Drive the Risk agenda and deliverables in alignment with strategic goals
- Participate in the review and assessment of regulatory expectations and legal obligations related to risk management and adherence to internal policies
- Collaborate with stakeholders to streamline and standardize key processes
- Prepare executive-level materials for Risk Leadership forums and committees
- Provide and coordinate high-level responses to executive ad-hoc requests
- Design and implement risk management training programs for risk management and/or business partners
- Build strong relationships across the organization to support strategic initiatives
- Foster a culture of innovation and continuous improvement in risk management
Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills:
- 10 years of experience in strategy and project management within the banking industry
- Strong understanding of risk management principles and practices.
- Possess a demonstrated ability to thrive in a fast-paced, results-oriented environment, adept at managing shifting priorities
- Self-driven with a high degree of initiative, independence and accountability.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills.
- Proven ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
- Detail-oriented, organized, and inquisitive.
- Ability to produce thorough, accurate, and timely work products.
Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills:
- Ability to engage diverse audiences, including business leaders and regulators.
- Demonstrated ability to thrive in a fast-paced, results-oriented environment, and adept at managing shifting priorities.

- Broad understanding of financial services support functions and products.
- Experience in presenting to Senior Management.
- High degree of initiative and ability to work well under pressure.
