Job Description

As an Associate within the Cash Equity team, you’ll focus on developing key investor client relationships through providing specialized market insight and expertise. Client target will be leading institutional investors in the APAC region. Tasks will be to formulate investment opinions, disseminate equity research and to facilitate introductions with experts to help clients successfully achieve their investment objectives. In addition, there will be focus to bring a collaborative approach with our business partners in trading, research and syndicate to provide comprehensive client coverage across all platforms.

Job responsibilities

  • Take responsibility for fostering and maintaining client relationships
  • Collaborate with internal partners to understand and introduce JPMorgan products and solutions to clients
  • Work with teammates to share information and build a collaborative environment
  • Strong team player that partners not only with the assigned team colleagues but across Lines of Businesses
  • Strong proficiency in Bloomberg, Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint
  • Adequate proficiency in both Japanese and English (business level)

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • Some experience in finance, JSDA 1 & 2 preferred
  • Strong understandings of equity fundamental valuations and accounting
  • Existing client relationships with APAC investors
