Job Description
The Role
We are seeking an Associate/Vice President to join our Investment Specialist team which serves as the main point-of-contact for our clients, prospects, and J.P. Morgan Asset Management’s Client Advisors. As an Vice President in the Private Credit Solutions Group, you will play a key role in coverage of investors across private credit accounts. You will also work closely with senior members of the team to develop compelling marketing materials and to help tell our story to both existing clients and prospects. Superior candidates will demonstrate a strong work ethic, be creative and proactive in problem solving, be adaptable and comfortable in high pressure situations.
The role will provide candidates with an opportunity to learn how to craft compelling messages and problem solve in a fast-paced environment. We are looking for individuals who are interested in markets and demonstrate intellectual curiosity regarding our investment offerings. Being proactive and anticipating the next steps are critical for success. The candidate will primarily work on the below with additional responsibilities developing based on the team’s needs and the candidate’s skillset.
Job Responsibilities
Core member of coverage team for existing investor accounts
Contribute to strategy for individual client relationships including identifying opportunities for additional product opportunities
Drive the creation of materials for meetings with our existing institutional investor base
Produce and review regular reporting and commentary
Contribute to and take ownership of high-profile projects and business initiatives as needed
Work closely with product structuring, legal, compliance, operations and finance teams to create a seamless client service experience
Help support business development efforts by working closely with team leaders to develop compelling marketing presentations for both external and internal audiences
Respond to ad hoc client queries and formal Requests for Proposal
Required qualifications, capabilities and skills
Excellent interpersonal skills, ability to build strong relationships and a team player
Ability to grasp complex concepts and explain them to others
- Self-starter, proactive mindset, ability to anticipate questions and client needs
- Demonstrated interest in markets and private credit investments
- Well organized work style with intense focus on details
- Superior Excel and PowerPoint skills, python/coding experience a plus
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
