Job Description

Shape the future of global banking operations with J.P. Morgan Asset & Wealth Management.

As a Cash Operations Associate in Asset & Wealth Management, you will manage day-to-day cash movements for Private Bank clients, ensuring accuracy and compliance. You will collaborate with internal and external partners to resolve payment issues and support process improvements. In this role, you will operate in a high-volume, deadline-driven environment, leveraging technology and teamwork to deliver outstanding client experiences. You will have opportunities to develop technical and leadership skills while promoting a culture of inclusion and operational excellence.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Monitor and process incoming and outgoing cash transactions for Private Bank clients
  • Investigate payment issues, handle fund returns and amendments, and ensure regulatory compliance for EU and Asia
  • Support process optimization by managing error reports and leveraging AI/ML technologies
  • Assist in meeting market and currency deadlines, handling exceptions and escalations
  • Participate in training programs to develop technical and leadership competencies
  • Promote a collaborative and inclusive work environment
  • Collaborate with Client Services, Bankers, Treasury Services, and other Operations teams
  • Support transformation initiatives and work with global teams
  • Assist in effective communication and influence across teams
  • Operate effectively in a high-volume, rapid-paced, deadline-oriented environment
  • Proactively manage escalations, promote process improvement, share best practices, and support risk management

Required qualifications, capabilities and skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field
  • Five years of experience in Financial Services, Operations, or Investment/Wealth Management operations
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet stringent deadlines
  • Demonstrated experience in following operational procedures for accuracy and timeliness
  • Willingness to work in US, Asia, and EMEA shifts
  • Experience in documenting processes and identifying areas for control enhancement
  • Strong relationship-building and influencing skills
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with Operations Leaders and key partners
  • Consultative approach with understanding of business partner needs

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills:

  • MBA or other postgraduate degree
  • Six years of experience in Financial Services or related operations
  • Knowledge of automation tools and AI/ML technologies
  • Experience in process transformation and operational excellence initiatives
  • Subject matter expertise in exception handling and process improvement
  • Flexibility and adaptability to changing environments
  • Experience in training and developing team members
