As a Market Data Category Sourcing Manager Associate in the Corporate and Investment Bank and Asset and Wealth Management teams, you will lead and support sourcing and contracting activities for third-party suppliers. You will work closely with colleagues across the business to identify, evaluate, and onboard suppliers that meet our needs. You will help us achieve cost efficiencies and ensure compliance with global standards. Your role will enable us to deliver high-quality services to our clients and stakeholders. Together, we will build strong supplier partnerships and drive business success.

Job Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain relationships with senior executives and business partners in market data services and global reference data teams
  • Lead sourcing and contracting processes for third-party supplier spend across multiple business groups
  • Identify and evaluate capable suppliers to meet business requirements
  • Conduct competitive sourcing processes and negotiate commercial terms
  • Support vendor rationalization initiatives across corporate and investment banking and asset and wealth management
  • Ensure channel compliance and efficient procurement of goods and services globally
  • Perform in-depth supplier due diligence and cost analysis
  • Present sourcing options and recommendations to stakeholders
  • Collaborate with legal, risk, third-party oversight, and finance teams to complete negotiations
  • Maintain compliance with all policy and procedural guidelines
  • Partner with regional teams and clients on local, regional, and global sourcing projects

Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills

  • Demonstrated experience in market data services
  • Strong sourcing and process knowledge
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Proven interpersonal skills and sound judgment
  • Ability to manage multiple assignments and meet deadlines

Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills

  • Experience with trading platforms, exchanges, pricing, research subscriptions, and broker services
  • Background in supplier due diligence for complex sourcing transactions
  • Familiarity with global procurement practices
  • Experience supporting vendor rationalization programs
  • Ability to present sourcing strategies to senior stakeholders
  • Knowledge of service level agreement compliance
  • Experience in developing and executing sourcing strategies for significant transactions
