Job Description
J.P. Morgan Wealth Management (JPMWM) is focused on helping investors achieve their long-term financial goals and is comprised of the Chase Wealth Management business, J.P. Morgan Advisors, J.P. Morgan Self-Directed Investing (digital platform), J.P. Morgan Investments Direct, and J.P. Morgan Personal Advisors. J.P. Morgan (our Remote Wealth Management offering).
As a Vice President on the CWM Business Project Management Team, you will support the Chase Wealth Management Business in both the day-to-day support of the business and its strategic initiatives. You will own and drive various aspects of large scale and day-to-day business initiatives, from both a tactical and strategic perspective. The role requires excellent communication skills, flexibility and comfort with ambiguity and a rapid pace of change, attention to detail, and strong collaboration with various businesses and functional areas across J.P. Morgan Wealth Management, Consumer Banking, Home Lending and Business Banking.
Job responsibilities
- Lead the Branch Technology pillar on behalf of the business, spearheading the deployment of innovative branch technology solutions, ensuring seamless upgrades and rollouts that enhance operational efficiency and advisor productivity.
- Collaborate with various stakeholders, including product and technology teams, to execute business initiatives.
- Drive the prioritization, implementation, and measurement of key business goals and targets, managing projects that impact Advisors and their management across multiple stakeholders.
- Identify risks and escalate issues promptly, employing a solution-focused mindset to resolve challenges.
- Interface with senior executives on the leadership team, building relationships across stakeholders to enable the business to achieve its objectives and ensure initiatives are executed as planned in a controlled manner.
- Build trust and rapport through all interactions, delivering optimal outcomes for the business and fostering an advisor and client-centric mindset across all strategic initiatives.
- Leverage cross-functional relationships and business knowledge to influence outcomes with quick turnaround times.
- Prepare executive reports, presentations, and communications for diverse audiences, including Senior Management and Leadership.
- Strategize and develop implementation plans for key initiatives effectively.
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- 7+ years of experience in the financial services industry
- Proven track record of managing and delivering high-profile priorities and projects in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with multiple stakeholders.
- Exceptional interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact, influence, and collaborate effectively at all organizational levels.
- Proactive, accountable, and detail-oriented, with the ability to prioritize and execute multiple deliverables under demanding deadlines.
- Strong storytelling and presentation skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to adjust approaches for various audiences.
- Experience supporting large organizational and technology transformations.
- Adaptable to change in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
- Proficient in PowerPoint and Excel.
Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- Background in corporate strategy, management consulting, or project management is preferred.
- Experience preferably within wealth management or investment organizations.
- Knowledge of Chase Wealth Management, Global Wealth Management, and/or Consumer Banking business models, organizational structure, and performance metrics is preferred.
