Drive risk excellence as a Private Bank Client Service Control Solutions Associate—lead the charge in building robust controls, detecting issues in real time, and shaping a proactive risk management culture.
As a Client Service Control Solutions Associate within the U.S. Private Bank at JP Morgan, you will lead, build, and maintain a strong control framework supporting a continuous and integrated approach to risk assessment. You will ensure the team assists in top-down risk analysis, real-time control issue detection, escalation, root cause analysis, and remediation.
Job responsibilities
- Create an initiative-taking risk and control culture leveraging proven evaluation strategies and sound change management protocols
- Support end-to-end execution of the Risk & Control environment, issue and error resolution, reduction of financial loss, audit and regulatory exposure, and reputational risk
- Engage with Control Management partners, colleagues across the firm, service, business, operations management, legal, compliance, risk, audit, regulators, technology, and control functions
- Build and advance program-related data (e.g., KRI/KPI) and performance metrics to support business processes, programs, and strategies
- Identify technology solutions in partnership with Product and Process owners
- Manage ongoing Change Management requests from Service and Business partners for risk evaluation, approval, and updates to processes and procedures
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- Bachelor’s degree required
- 3+ years of experience in financial services
- Strong expertise in control and risk management, with a passion for process design, innovation, and technology
- Skilled at gathering business requirements and collaborating with diverse teams
- Flexible, highly organized, and able to thrive in fast-paced environments
- Proficient at visualizing and communicating complex, data-driven insights
- Experienced in process mapping, analysis, and identifying business opportunities from data; advanced Microsoft Office skills
Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- Experience utilizing and implementing AI/machine learning solutions a plus
- Change Mobilization toolset proficiency a plus (Alteryx, Tableau, Python, Databricks, SQL)
- Experience in controls, audit, risk management, or compliance
