Job Description

As a Junior Associate within the Mortgage Solutions Product team, you support release management and product testing activities. You coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful product launches and maintain high standards of quality. You contribute to the continuous improvement of processes, enhancing product reliability and user satisfaction.
Job Responsibilities:
- Supports the Mortgage Solutions Product team with a focus on release management and product testing.
- Coordinates product releases and ensures smooth, successful launches in collaboration with Client Advisory, Operations, and Technology teams.
- Manages the strategic product roadmap, adapting to changing business and client needs.
- Ensures thorough testing and quality assurance for all product features throughout the lifecycle.
- Adheres to agile methodologies, including story mapping, backlog grooming, sprint planning, and stand-ups.
- Develops and writes user stories that align with the product features, ensuring they meet the Definition of Ready (DoR) and overseeing their delivery to meet the Definition of Done (DoD).
- Ensures all necessary testing is completed for each feature, with a strong focus on quality assurance throughout the product lifecycle
- Communicates testing progress, release status, and issues to stakeholders and team members.
- Support Regression Testing and User Acceptance Testing (UAT) Activities.
- Supports continuous improvement of release and testing processes to enhance product reliability and user adoption.
Required Qualifications, Capabilities and Skills:
- 3+ yrs of experience in product support, release management, testing or technology roles
- Basic Understanding of software release cycles, testing principles and financial services.
- Proficient in both manual and automated testing methods, with a strong understanding of testing principles and methodologies to enhance product reliability and team efficiency.
- Self-starter with the ability to solve problems creatively and deliver results while working in a dynamic, collaborative, and challenging environment.
- Strong project management skills, with the ability to collaborate with multiple points of contact to achieve results.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools, with particular skill in Excel, PowerPoint, JIRA, Confluence and VISIO.
- BS/BA or equivalent.
Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities and Skills:
- Interest in Release Management, software testing and mortgage/Lending industry product background.
- Willingness to learn new technologies, testing tools and industry trends.
