Job Description

As a Reference Data Analyst within the Static Data Team, you will play a crucial role in supporting day-to-day operations. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure that critical tasks assigned to the team are accomplished within the agreed timeline. This role offers you the unique opportunity to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment, and to contribute significantly to our global clients' success.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Execute assigned tasks for the group, including setting up client records, maintaining work logs, and investigating issues and exceptions.
  • Add and update client information accurately and promptly in relevant functional applications, global systems, and mainframes.
  • Manage BAU workflow by handling requests from CSOs, the Implementation Team, and internal departments sent to the Static Team.
  • Ensure work is processed within established timeframes, adheres to necessary controls, and meets set targets.
  • Interact with Lines of Business and internal clients via telephone or email, including those in senior roles.
  • Respond to mailbox queries and resolve client issues as a priority.
  • Work on various BAU projects as assigned, ensuring timely completion.
  • Process required backup tasks related to production and identify opportunities to improve current work practices.
  • Investigate transactions and ageing levels extensively, contribute to team goals and SLAs, and fulfill individual responsibilities.
  • Escalate and refer concerns or non-routine situations to supervisors and managers.

Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills:

  • Minimum of 4 years’ experience in a bank operations environment.
  • Strong English written and verbal communication skills.
  • Demonstrated analytical skills, attention to detail, and strong organizational abilities.
  • High client centricity with a solution-oriented approach and effective communication.
  • Proficient in MS Office, especially MS Excel.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to communicate clearly in both written and verbal forms.
  • Assertive in addressing and resolving open issues professionally.
  • Adaptable to fast-paced, changing environments and able to work in global teams across regions and time zones, with flexibility for any shift.

Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills:

  • Knowledge of Trade, Payments and Cash products would be an added advantage.
  • University degree in a relevant field
