As a Data Owner Senior Associate in the Consumer and Community Banking team, you will use your expertise to ensure data is documented, high-quality, and well-protected. You will collaborate with business and technology partners to deliver data that supports business objectives and customer experience.

Job responsibilities

  • Define metadata and classifiers for critical business data
  • Execute processes to identify, monitor, and mitigate data risks across the data lifecycle
  • Develop operational procedures for data delivery supporting business operations and analytics
  • Document data requirements to ensure stakeholder understanding
  • Partner with technology and business teams to investigate and remediate data issues
  • Collaborate to resolve data issues in a timely manner
  • Build relationships with data providers and consumers across functions

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • Eight years of experience in a data-related field with Bachelor’s degree
  • Subject matter expertise in business or product data or processes
  • Technical knowledge of data management, governance, or data architecture
  • Proven ability to execute through internal partnerships
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Analytical thinking and problem-solving skills

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Google, or Azure
  • Experience with traditional relational databases like Oracle or SQLServer
  • Basic understanding of cloud databases
  • Experience in conceptual, logical, and physical data modeling
