Job Description

Join the Central Controls Office (CCO) within the Commercial & Investment Bank (CIB) as a Business Management Support professional. In this varied role, you will provide essential administrative, coordination, and operational support to the Business Manager and CCO team across a variety of business management and project activities. This position is ideal for a proactive, organized, and results-promoten team member who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is eager to learn and develop. Success in this role requires strong attention to detail, planning, and communication skills.

As a Business Management Support professional within the Central Controls Office (CCO) of the Commercial & Investment Bank (CIB), you will provide essential administrative, coordination, and operational support to the Business Manager and CCO team. This role offers a fantastic opportunity to enhance your skills and grow within a collaborative and rewarding team environment, supporting the strategic and operational objectives of the Central Controls Office.

Job Responsibilities

  • Maintain and update distribution lists, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and internal documentation.
  • Organize and store internal resources for easy access; update and rationalize SharePoint sites and intranet pages.
  • Assist with monthly headcount reporting and maintain summaries by location and cost centre.
  • Support the preparation and organization of team meetings, town halls, and off-sites, including updating organizational charts and distributing materials.
  • Coordinate onboarding activities, including distributing new joiner packs and materials.
  • Help coordinate project activities, track progress, and follow up on open items.
  • Assist in defining and maintaining business processes and procedures.
  • Run basic data analysis to support decision-making (with guidance).
  • Track and update manual maintenance files. Track expenses and key metrics.
  • Assist in preparing materials for executive meetings.
  • Support the implementation of strategic and financial objectives.

Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills

  • Self-starter with the ability to anticipate next steps and take initiative.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel, PowerPoint, Tableau & Alteryx.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills; able to prioritize and multi-task.
  • High attention to detail and willingness to learn.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to address challenges and find solutions.
  • Working hours: EMEA shift.
